We are all here to support you. 

The BMS Office has transitioned to a ‘virtual’ office during the current COVID-19 crisis. This means that our physical office is closed, but all email inquiries will be handled as usual. If you have any urgent matters that require in-person support, please email us (arts.mediastudies@ubc.ca) to arrange an appointment.

UBC has also created a dedicated COVID-19 website for all students, campus and class news, with ongoing updates and FAQs as they arise. Please click the link below to view the resources.

We know that this is a time of enormous anxiety about your courses and academic careers.

Our goal is to support your educational progression, anticipate issues and support our students however we can. The UBC Faculty of Arts have authorized some exceptional end-of-term grading options for courses ending in April 2020 so that you can decide how to complete your term.
