Facility Updates
Seasonal Closures for Maintenance

Heads up! Some pools and fitness centres are taking a break for maintenance:

  • Eagle Ridge Outdoor Pool (2689 Guildford Way) closes for the season on September 2 and will reopen for the 2026 summer season after the fall and winter maintenance.
  • The fitness centre at City Centre Aquatic Complex (1210 Pinetree Way) will close for annual maintenance from September 2 to 9 and expected to reopen to public on September 9.
  • The pool at City Centre Aquatic Complex (1210 Pinetree Way) will close for annual maintenance from September 2 to October 5, reopening to the public on October 6.

In the meantime, you can keep swimming and working out at Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (open year-round) or dive in at Mundy Park Pool, which has extended its season until October 5.

Final Summer Concert in the Park

Coquitlam’s Summer Concert Series wraps up on Friday, September 5. Join us at the Town Centre Park Community Plaza from 7 to 9 p.m. and enjoy the timeless magic of ABBA performed by ABRA Cadabra. Dance and sing along to classics like "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," and "Waterloo". Bring a blanket or chair, and grab a bite to from on-site food vendors: Beavertails, Cachito Mio and Tornado Potato. Special thanks to our Supporting Partners, Polygon Homes and Vancity.

Fall Swap and Sale
No Yard? No Problem!

On Saturday, September 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the City is hosting a Fall Swap and Sale at Centennial Pavilion (620 Poirier Street).

This event is perfect for apartment and condo residents who want to sell, trade, or give away items during the City-Wide Garage Sale. Spaces are limited, so be sure to register by Wednesday, September 17.

Attending a fitness class? If you’ve pre-registered, be sure to arrive on time. Spots may be given to drop-in participants if you’re more than 5 minutes late.

Arriving on time means you’ll warm up right and keep the whole class in sync.
